Management Health Solutions, Inc. Unveils Reporting Portal for Capital Asset Valuation

Management Health Solutions, Inc. (MHS), the leading provider of physical inventory solutions to the healthcare industry, has announced enhancements to its Capital Asset Valuation (CAV) physical inventory services with the addition of an online portal as well as other new features to improve how hospitals gain access to and control over their clinical equipment and supplies.
MHS offers hospitals and healthcare systems a comprehensive feature rich inventory service product line. The company’s OPTICSM solution employs a 3-step process of cleaning, counting and optimizing, allowing hospitals to dramatically increase their profits and efficiency by reducing their clinical supply costs. Using the most current technology and expert staff to complete the physical inventory, combined with a newly released interactive portal for flexible reporting and data analysis, MHS has the capability to meet all needs related to a comprehensive facility wide capital asset inventory and has extensive experience in performing this service in the healthcare market.
The addition of the online portal provides MHS clients with high level inventory reports quickly through one secure, web-based application and allows them to deliver information to decision-makers who rely on accurate, current data. The portal's interactive analytics feature makes it possible to find any individual item or group of items from a manufacturer, area or based on a description with multiple search criteria to search and sort across any attribute in the clinical inventory data.
“MHS met with a variety of healthcare facilities and found that many of the common problems associated with the management of their medical equipment could easily be solved with the implementation of an online portal that keeps information all in one place,” states William Zierolf, President and CEO of MHS.
Besides giving hospitals a better way to keep track of their assets, the online portal also frees up hospital staff to focus more on patient care. MHS explains that it will work with its clients to ensure that the end goal of any project provides value to the client before accepting the project. The company adds that in some cases, process and technology change will be recommended in order to maintain the desired results.
ABOUT CAPITAL ASSET VALUATION
CAV was first introduced in an effort to provide MHS’ clients with an accurate capital asset inventory database utilizing the information provided by the clients themselves, and validated by MHS’ skilled and experienced staff in surveying each client’s assets. MHS expert teams find, identify, and count capital asset inventory culminating in asset lists by area and deliver reports through an online portal to address a wide variety of site-specific requirements including the determination of current depreciated asset value. Assets can be tagged with barcodes or RFID tags as required by asset management systems for improved inventory control.
