Fairfield, Connecticut, March 19, 2009 | Management Health Solutions, Inc. (MHS), a leader in the field of physical inventory solutions, has signed a contract with the Mid-Atlantic Group Network of Shared Services, also known as MAGNET, to be a preferred supply chain vendor for Clinical Inventory Valuation (CIV), Clinical Content Management (CCM), and Clinical Inventory Management (CIM) services. Per the terms of the contract, MHS will act in a partnership with MAGNET, a group purchasing organization (GPO) for over 11,000 providers, including hospitals, alternate care facilities, and physician practices and clinics. Consequently, MHS will be able to respond quickly to a health care organization’s needs and regional health trends.
“Our selection as one of MAGNET’s preferred suppliers is an honor for MHS,” said William Zierolf, Chief Executive Officer for MHS. “With this decision, MAGNET has expressed its confidence in MHS as a key player in our industry, and it’s a role we are happy to take on and excel at. We are pleased to accept this vote of assurance from one of the oldest, largest and most experienced shared services in the country.”
“What differentiates MAGNET from other GPO’s across the country is our unique approach to business and our continuous endeavor to increase the sophistication and level of our services as part of our commitment to our members,” said Steven R. Duke, Vice President of MAGNET. “It is obvious to us that MHS shares our pledge to provide quality products and services, and will take positive action in the fight to reduce health care costs. We are confident that MHS will impart their unique assets to build a solid foundation for mutual success.”
